Device attestation for cloud native Intune enrollment
Monday September 16, 2024 13:15 - 14:15 CEST
Keeping devices secure and productive is a constant challenge. Bad actors are always finding new ways to break into systems, while employees want to use both personal and work devices and so Microsoft Intune helps IT administrators protect data and devices.
One common threat is supply-chain attacks, where hackers impersonate authorised devices or install harmful code that security software can't detect. Microsoft Intune now offers hardware-backed device attestation to protect against these threats. In this session, we'll explain how this feature works during device enrolment and how it helps thwart bad actors.

Zero Trust - Dope or Nope?
Wednesday September 18, 2024 10:40 - 11:40 CEST
Zero Trust must be the worst name in the history of Security. But is it just a bad name? Does it really offer worthwhile goals or is it an overkill? I hear sales pitches for it, like for many other security solutions, that concentrate on "What we can't allow anymore because of changed security landscape" all the time. Why does security have to be so negative? A well done Zero Trust environment gives you "the ability to work as efficiently and securely, whether you are sitting in Starbucks or the corporate office" - Which I believe most of us want. Come and listen to this talk about rights and wrongs of how to achieve Zero Trust and how keep Security as what it's meant to be - a support function for a happy workforce.

Intune Reporting with KQL & PowerBI
Wednesday September 18, 2024 14:00 - 15:00 CEST
For admins coming from a Configuration Manager world, one common theme of feedback is that Intune does not provide sufficient reports.

In this session we will look at what we can get natively out of Intune, but more importantly, how we can go beyond native. Beyond native of course requires scripting, and here we will look at how to leverage PowerShell, Log Analytics, KQL and PowerBI to extract the data that is important for you, and render it in what we believe to be a truly awesome way.

This demo rich session will provide practical examples and scripts, so even if you have a degree in "borrowing code", you too will have something you can build upon on return to the office.
